Foresight Analytics Platform based desktop and web applications support work in various virtual environments. Application installation in virtual environments is identical to desktop application or BI server installation.

Xen® product range of Citrix.
A ready solution based on Foresight Analytics Platform can be virtualized by means of Citrix XenApp or Microsoft Azure RemoteApp and can be offered by user as software as a service (SaaS).
Virtual environment Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) can be used for preparation and delivery of the Foresight Analytics Platform desktop version or Foresight Analytics Platform based ready solutions as virtual cubes.
NOTE. On working with Microsoft Application Virtualization, use disatribution files only Reg-free COM registration based.
Virtual package is deployed on user computers and allows working with Foresight Analytics Platform via front end of virtual environment. The use of virtual packages makes the installation process of Foresight Analytics Platform easier, because all required operations are executed on dedicated server of virtual environment. Further deployment and access permission setup is executed via Active Directory.
When planning and deploying an application, the virtualization server administrator must use administrator guides offered by corresponding virtualization system vendors.
On working with Foresight Analytics Platform in virtual environments, activation must be executed by means of license server. Licenses are searched via LSHOST, LSFORCEHOST system variables and registry.
