The designer of business applications is used to develop web applications using standard tools and extensions of Foresight Analytics Platform and to provide integrity control on updating business application versions.
A business application can be built in the Foresight Analytics Platform desktop application.
To build a business application, follow the steps:
Create a business application, if required, change its common parameters:
NOTE. To create a business application and further create and install updates, the repository must contain extension of the Designer of Business Applications extension of Foresight Analytics Platform.
Create an internal structure of application to place objects in the Business Application Internal Structure folder:
New objects can also be added to the application using creation wizards of the Foresight Analytics Platform objects.
Create a structure of the web application menu in the Menu Structure folder:
Add shortcuts for objects that should be displayed in the web application to the menu structure:
Set up parameters of objects displayed in web application menu:
Set up dependencies for business application of components of Foresight Analytics Platform that are required for its stable work:
To provide web application functioning, install and set up back end of the designer of business applications.
To check ready web application health, open it in browser, navigate by side menu items and open its objects.
If required, set up page layout, for example, disable navigation bar and use only title bar:
To transfer a business application to another repository, create an update package, by specifying name and update version number of business application:
Install created update package to the required repository:
