Extensions are additional tools of Foresight Analytics Platform tools that are not available by default but can be installed separately and can be used to enhance functionality of created systems. Foresight Analytics Platform includes the following extensions: Calculation Algorithms, Business Process Management, Interactive Data Entry Forms, Designer of Business Applications.
An extension can depend on other extensions, that is why the extensions from which it depends will be also installed on its installation. Dependency of extensions:
Interactive data entry forms > Business process management > Calculation algorithms > Designer of business applications.
Therefore, the Interactive Data Entry Forms extension depends on all other extensions and on its installation all extensions will be installed; the Designer of Business Applications extension is independent from other extensions and is installed single.
To use extensions:
Install extensions to the repository.
Execute the setup for correct extensions work
Update already installed extensions if there are files with a newer version.
Install and set up extensions back end to work with ready business applications as web applications.
Connect extensions to the Foresight Analytics Platform web application.
NOTE. Update extensions under the user who is a database (scheme) owner.
