Start Page Formatting

To open the Application Parameters and Formatting dialog box:

• Select a root folder named after business application in the folder tree.

• Go to the Actions ribbon tab.

• Click the Parameters and Formatting button on the Actions ribbon tab.

Fill in the following boxes on the General tab:

• Full name.

• Short name.

• Note.

The Identifier box is not edited.

To save entered data, click the Save button.

On the Advanced tab:

• Select one of the radio buttons: Folder or Application Object.

• Select the object or folder to be displayed on the start page in the drop-down list.

• For the object with parameter set the parameter value in the parameter management area.

• Click the Save button.

NOTE. If the Folder radio button is selected, the parameter management area will be locked. If the Application Object radio button is selected, the parameter management area becomes available.

The Manage Object Parameters area is available for objects with parameters. The parameter management area is a parameter list of the selected object and it is used to determine parameter value, with which the object will be opened on the web application start page.

To determine parameter value, select the row in the parameter list and click the Determine Value button. The Parameter Value dialog box opens:

Select the Value radio button and select the required parameter value in the list or select the Value is not Defined radio button.

To save entered data, click the OK button. The value editor types in use are given in the Value Editor Parameters section.

The Formatting tab includes the following areas:

• Top Menu. It is used to set up top and navigation menu formatting parameters.

• Side Menu. It is used to set up side menu formatting parameters.

To load company logo and/or application icons:

• Click the button.

• In the standard file opening dialog box select a picture (icon).

To delete company logo and/or application icons, click the button.

To set up fonts and background colors, clicking the button opens the dialog box to define font and color, and clicking the button sets default values.

To save entered data, click the Save button.
