When opening ready update in the update manager take into account the following:
If the update structure contains objects, on opening ready update the Load Objects dialog box opens:

Select one of the radio buttons:
Clear Update and Load Objects. The current update objects will be replaced with the objects contained in the update to be opened.
Add Saved Objects to Current Update. Objects contained in the update to be opened will be added to the current update objects. If objects match, they will be duplicated.
Supplement Current Update. Objects contained in the update to be opened will be added to the current update objects. If objects match, the current objects will be replaced with the objects from the update.
If the update is opened in the source repository, and versions/dates of the last object change do not correspond with the versions/dates of the last object change in the object navigator, synchronize update objects with the repository. It is relevant if the update is opened in the desktop application:
If update options of specific objects are changed after opening the update in the source repository, synchronize update objects with the repository. For example, a table which update options contain object metadata is added to the update file. When opening the update file for this table update options are changed to Object Metadata and Data in the source repository. Object data is not loaded without synchronization of update file with the repository. It is relevant if update is opened in the desktop application.
NOTE. When separating administrator roles and depending on the selected method of access control the update file can be opened only if it contains elements available for the user. If they are missing, the update file is not opened.
