Setting Up Color Scale: Side Panel

NOTE. On setting up the scale take into account the following feature: boarding values are always included into scale smaller interval. For example, there is a scale with three intervals: less than 25, from 25 to 50, greater than 50. The 25 value is included into the Less than 25 interval, the 50 value is included into the From 25 to 50 interval.

Make sure that the side panel is displayed.
Select a bubble chart in the working area.
Select the Selection radio button on the side panel and select the Size metric in the dimension.
Select the Format radio button on the side panel and go to the Color tab.

If the Auto radio button is selected, scale intervals are calculated automatically. Set calculation parameters:

Quantiles. Specify whether scale quantiles are used.
If the checkbox is selected, the range is divided into the intervals depending on elements selected in the dimension, intervals may not have equal length.
If the checkbox is deselected, the intervals have equal length and do not depend on elements selected in the dimension.
Intervals. Specify the number of tick mark intervals by using the value editor or keyboard: from two to ten.

Select one of the radio buttons to determine interval fill mode:

Transition from. Interval colors are determined by the two-color gradient. Select the start and the end colors of the gradient in the drop-down palettes.
Exact Colors. The color for each interval is specified in the drop-down palette. The number of palettes matches the number of intervals.

If the Precise Intervals radio button is selected, intervals are set by the user.

The following operations can be executed with intervals:

Add an interval. Click the Add button to add an interval.
Delete interval. Select the required interval and click the Delete button. The interval will be deleted, and the upper border of the neighboring interval will be recalculated.
Set up interval color. Specify interval color in the drop-down color palette.
Set lower border of interval. Specify the lower border of interval in the Range From value editor. The upper border is determined automatically based on borders of the succeeding interval.
