Displaying Dimension Selection

To present data in a more detailed form during the print, one can output dimension selection in headers/footers.

To add selection to headers/footers, click the Insert button in the Header/Footer group of parameters on the side panel and select the Selection option. The Selection Output dialog box opens:

In the dialog box that opens determine the following parameters:

Data slice

Dimension

Output format

After the Apply button is clicked:

The Text box is added for each tag:

for each selected position:

&[<Slice name>.Selection Part = "<selected part Rows|Columns|Fixed>" Format = "<Selected format>"]

For each selected dimension:

&[<Slice name>.<Dictionary identifier>.Selection Format = "<Selected format>"]

After the tag is created, it can be edited and deleted only manually in the Text box.

Dimension name and its selection in the selected format will be displayed to the corresponding header/footer part.
