Adding a Named Range

To add a new named range:

1. Click the Add Range button on the Named Ranges panel. The dialog box with new named range settings opens:

2. Determine the following named range settings:

• Name. Enter range name. Name can contain Latin letters, numbers and underscores.

NOTE. The numbers and letters combinations in the A1 and R1C1 formats cannot be used because it can be seen as reference styles. When range name is specified in one of the specified formats and the Add button is clicked, the corresponding error is displayed.

• Range. Specify range using one of the methods:

• Enter a range in the box. Combinations of letters and numbers in the A1 and R1C1 formats can be used as a range.

• Put the cursor to the box and select the range on the report sheet.

3. Click the Add button.

The range will be added to the list of named ranges.

To edit a named range:

1. Click the Edit Range button on the Named Ranges panel. The dialog box with settings of the selected named range opens:

2. Change the required range settings.

The named range will be edited.

To delete a named range:

1. Click the Edit Range button on the Named Ranges panel. The dialog box with settings of the selected named range opens:

2. Click the Delete button.

After confirming the operation the named range will be deleted.
