Syntax

CosH(Value)

Parameters

Value. Any real number, for which you want to find the hyperbolic cosine. Available values are in the range [1, ∞).

NOTE. To determine the parameter, specify either the number or the address of the cell where it is located.

Description

It returns the hyperbolic cosine of a number.

Example

Formula Result Description
=CosH(4) 27,3082 The hyperbolic cosine of the 4 number.
=CosH(B6) 3,1075 The hyperbolic cosine of the number from the B6 cell. The B6 cell contains the 1.8 number.
