ACosH

Syntax

ACosH(Value)

Parameters

Value. Any real number equal to or greater than 1, for which you want to find the inverse hyperbolic cosine.

NOTE. To determine the parameter, specify either the number or the address of the cell where it is located.

Description

It returns hyperbolic arccosine of a number.

Comments

The inverse hyperbolic cosine is the value, which hyperbolic cosine is a number. The value must be greater or equal to one.

Example

Formula Result Description
= ACosH(B6) 1,4750 The hyperbolic arccosine of the number from the B6 cell. The B6 cell contains the 2.3 number.
= ACosH(10) 2,9932 Hyperbolic arccosine of the 10 number.
