A non-unique key is an additional identifier for MDM dictionary records. It is used to:
Set up attribute as an alternative hierarchy.
Set index to link with alternative hierarchies.
A key may contain:
A single dictionary attribute, which values can be repeated for each element.
Several attributes, which values are non-unique.
Setting up non-unique keys is different in the web application and in the desktop application.
To create and set up non-unique keys use the Non-Unique Keys page of the dictionary structure setup wizard:
