Adding Unique Keys

To add a unique key:

• In the web application click the Add button. A new key will be added to the list of unique keys. Key name and identifier will be set by default. The default value of the Name property - ITEM<Number>. The default value of the Identifier property is UI<Number>.

• In the desktop application:

• Click the Add button.

• Select the Add item in the context menu on the empty area of the Unique Keys tab.

• Double-click the empty area of the Unique Keys tab.

The Unique Key Properties dialog box opens:

Set up unique key properties:

• Name. Enter the unique key name.

• Identifier. Enter the unique key identifier. Only Latin characters, numbers and underscores are allowed; spaces are not allowed.

• Attribute Entries. The list contains the checkboxes corresponding to dictionary attributes, including system attributes: Name and Order. Select one of several attributes that must be included into a unique key.

To edit properties of the selected unique key:

• In the web application change properties in corresponding columns of the required unique key on the Unique Keys page of the dictionary wizard.

• In the desktop application:

• Click the Edit button.

• Select the Edit item in the unique key's context menu.

• Double-click the name of the unique key.

Make necessary changes in the Unique Key Properties dialog box for MDM dictionary/composite MDM dictionary.

To delete the selected unique key:

• In the web application click the Delete button.

• In the desktop application:

• Click the Delete button.

• Press CTRL+DELETE.

• Select the Delete item in the unique key's context menu.

A confirmation to execute the operation is requested.
