To get access to data stored in any external sources, Foresight Analytics Platform provides the following capabilities:
Connect to relational databases. This connection uses the Database repository object containing actual settings of the database that stores data.
Connect to another repository. This connection provides an access from the current repository to the object of another repository. The other repository settings are saved in the Repository Connection object. The current repository contains shortcuts that are used to provide access to objects from another repository and their data by using Repository Connection.
