Selecting Tables

Use the Select Tables page to select tables to be included in the repository. To do this, select the checkboxes next to the tables that should be included in the repository as external ones. The page is available only in the desktop application.

If the database selected on the previous page contains selected Manage DBMS Objects Permissions and the Use Logon Credentials checkboxes, only the tables of this database are included in the list of tables but not the tables of the whole schema.

Clicking the Finish button creates external tables for selected tables in the repository. When an external table is edited, the wizard opens, which is similar to a standard table. All information about the table (lists of fields, indexes, constraints, and so on) in the wizard will be read-only.
