Use the Select Tables page to select tables to be included in the repository. To do this, select the checkboxes next to the tables that should be included in the repository as external ones. The page is available only in the desktop application.
If database selected on the previous page contains selected Manage DBMS Objects Permissions and the Use Logon Credentials checkboxes, only the tables of this database are included to the list of tables but not the tables of the whole schema.
Clicking the Finish button creates external tables for selected tables in repository. When editing an external table the wizard opens, which is similar to a standard table. All information about table (lists of fields, indexes, constraints, and so on) in the wizard will be read-only.
