The Display Versions Page: Standard Cube

The Display Versions page is used to set up cube display parameters. By default, a cube has a single display version, name and identifier of which match the name and identifier of the cube itself. The added display versions can be used as data sources in the tools:

NOTE. The Display Versions page is available only in the web application. In the desktop application, cube display versions can be set up on the Aggregation page.

To add a display version:

Click the Add button or select the existing display version in the button's drop-down menu. A new string is added to the list of display versions. If the existing display version is selected, its copy is added.
Set the parameters:

Name. Enter short description of cube display version. The ITEM1 name is set by default.
Identifier. Enter a sequence of Latin letters, numbers, and underscore characters, starting with a letter. An identifier should be unique. The ITEM identifier is set by default.
Set as Default. Select the checkbox to use default display version. This display version will be used as a visualizer's data source in the Information Panels tool and when a cube opens for view in the Analytical Queries (OLAP) tool. By default, the checkbox is selected next to the display version, which name and identifier match the name and identifier of the cube itself.
Hidden. Select the checkbox to hide display version. This display version cannot be selected when working with the cube in the Information Panels and Analytical Queries (OLAP) tools. The checkbox is deselected by default.

After executing the operations a new display version is added.

To change configured display version:

Select display version.
Click the Select Configured Display Version button.

After executing the operations the configured display version is changed. The current configured display version is marked with the icon in the Selected column.
