Working with Ready Resources

The following operations are available to work with ready resources:

Edit resource.
Sort resources. It is available only in the desktop application.
Select resources.
Remove resource.

Editing Resource

To edit resource:

In the web application:

Double-click the resource cell.
Select the Edit item in the resource cell's context menu.

In the desktop application:

Double-click the resource cell.
Select the Edit item in the resource cell's context menu.
Press F2 after selecting the resource cell.

After executing one of the operations:

In the string resources the selected cell opens in the edit mode. Apply resource translation and press the ENTER key or click outside the cell.
In the graphic resources the side panel opens in the web application, or the Edit Image dialog box opens in the desktop application. Change the image using the Change button.

Sorting Resources

NOTE. It is available only in the desktop application.

To sort resources, click the column header. After this, resources will be sorted, the column header will display an icon with sorting direction:

. Ascending.
. Descending.

Selecting Resources

To select a single resource, click on it.

To select all resources:

In the web application:

Select the Select All item in the resources list's context menu.
Select the Edit > Select All main menu item.

In the desktop application:

Select the Select All item in the resources list's context menu.
Select the Edit > Select All main menu item.
Press CTRL+A.

To select several resources, hold down the CTRL key and click the resources one by one. To select a range of elements, hold down the SHIFT key and click the first and the last resource in the range.

NOTE. Selecting several resources is available only in the desktop application.

To deselect elements, select the Edit > Deselect All main menu item.

Deleting Resource

To delete the selected resource:

In the web application:

Select the Edit > Delete Resource main menu item.
Select the Delete item in the resource's context menu.
Press the DELETE key.

In the desktop application:

Click the Delete Resource button on the toolbar.
Select the Edit > Delete main menu item.
Select the Delete item in the resource's context menu.
Press the DELETE key.

After executing one of the operations the resource is deleted.
