To view variable parameters and edit its name, use the General side panel tab.

Working with Variable from Modeling Container

On working with a modeling container variable, the tab contains information on the variable name and calendar frequency. For example:

On working with a variable form an external data source the tab looks as follows:

Use the Source Name. If the radio button is selected, the variable name is displayed based on values of variable attributes' values and data source name. Read-only.
Set the Name. If the radio button is selected, the current name of the variable is displayed. Editable.
Frequency. Calendar frequency of the variable. Read-only.
Attributes. Variable attributes defined in the data source. Read-only.
