Granger Test

The Granger test is used to check time series for cause-effect relations. It is a part of a group of tests to check variables properties.

To execute the test

Test parameters:

TIP. For correct test calculation, the variable length should satisfy the following correlation: ≥ 3 * + 3. Where: L - the number of variable points, m - the lag value.

The test is executed simultaneously for all selected variables. Probabilities and statistics matrices are calculated. Probabilities values are compared with the specified significance level. Small probability level indicates about possible dependency between variables.
