Setting Weight Coefficients

The number of working days varies from month to month and this can affect final result of the time series analysis. The X11 method enables the user to take this into account by setting weight coefficients for days of the week.

NOTE. The X11 method is supported only in Windows.

To set values of weight coefficients for each day of the week, use the Weight Coefficients side panel tab.

To display the tab

Set the coefficient value for each day of the week. By default, weight coefficients are equal to one. If the sum of all coefficients is not equal to seven, the coefficients are normalized by the following formula:

Wi=Wi*7/S,

where:

Wi. Coefficient weight.
S. Unnormalized sum.
