The tool supports interface of Foresight Analytics Platform 9 or earlier.

R Methods

R methods are used to create calculated series using the R package.

NOTE. R methods are available if Foresight Analytics Platform has R package connected. For details see the How to Set Up Integration with R? section.

To apply method

After the method is applied, the calculated series is created in the workbook, which is named according to the model <Method name> R(<Series_Name>), the series contains calculation results. For example:

Setting up of parameters for calculation of the series, calculated by means of R, matches the setting up of the similarly named method in the Time Series Analysis tool. The following R methods are available:

Linear regression (OLS).
Linear regression (IVM).
Non-linear regression.
Baxter-King filter.
Hodrick-Prescott filter.
Exponential smoothing.
Moving average.
ARIMA.
