The DBLookupComboBox component enables the user to set the value of a certain field of one data set by selecting a corresponding value in the list created from the elements of another data set. The data is displayed using the standard ComboBox component.
The DBLookupComboBox list is generated using the appropriate elements of the ListSource lookup set. Selection in the list is determined by the value of field in the DataSource data set. Usually, the lists display values of the fields (ListField) that best describe real value of the field (DataField).
If the DataField property in the DBLookupListBox component specifies a search field, dependence between field value and search list is set automatically. If DataField specifies a field, which is not a list field, dependence is explicitly set by setting the ListField, ListSource properties.
