Metrics Legend

NOTE. In regular reports, a legend is added by using the

Legend drop-down menu button of the Charts group on the Insert ribbon tab. Legend setup is available on the Legend Parameters side panel tab after selecting a legend in the working area.

Select the legend position option on the Position panel:

. The upper left corner.
. The center of the upper border.
. The upper right corner.
. The center of the right border.
. The lower right corner.
. The center of the lower border.
. The lower left corner.
. The center of the left border.
. The legend is not displayed.

Parameters of font used in the legend are set in the Font group:

Font. Select one of the fonts available in the operating system.
Font size. Set the required font size. The size is set in points and it can be selected in the drop-down list or entered manually. Available values range: [1; 72].
Font style. Click the buttons that determine font style:

B. Bold.
I. Italic.
U. Underline.

When the button is pressed, the corresponding font style is used. Several styles can be used simultaneously, for example, pressed B and I buttons result in bold italic font style.

Font color. Select font color in the drop-down color palette.

Legend background fill parameters are set in the Fill group.

Select the Fill checkbox and select the required color in the drop-down palette. Set transparency percent for legend background in the Transparency box.

Legend border formatting is set in the Border group. If the checkbox is selected, legend border is displayed. Additional parameters are displayed to set up border parameters: a drop-down palette to select border colors and a value editor to set border width.
