Sparklines

Sparklines are small charts located inside cells. Sparklines can be used to show trends in data series.

NOTE. Sparklines are available in all tools, except for the Reports tool.

Sparklines are used to visually present large datasets. Sparklines can be displayed for table columns, rows, and totals.

To display sparklines by rows or columns, select the By Rows/By Columns checkbox in the drop-down menu of the Sparklines button in the Elements group on the Table ribbon tab. If the By Rows or the By Columns checkbox is selected, sparklines can be displayed for totals. To display sparklines for totals, select the Show for Totals checkbox.

NOTE. If the By Rows, By Columns, Show for Totals checkboxes are selected at the same time, the By Rows and the By Columns checkboxes are deselected, the Show for Totals checkbox is disabled but sparklines for totals are also hidden. If one of the By Rows or the By Columns checkboxes is selected again, the Show for Totals checkbox is enabled and the table automatically displays sparklines for totals by rows and by columns. The Show for Totals checkbox can be deselected only if one of the By Rows or the By Columns checkboxes is selected.
