SVG Topobases

Foresight Analytics Platform supports topobases based on the scalable vector graphics markup language SVG, that is an extension of XML language. Topobase format matches the SVG 1.1 format but it has its own limitations and extensions.

The example of SVG topobase:

To use an SVG topobase in various tools of Foresight Analytics Platform:

  1. Prepare SVG topobase in any vector graphics editor.

  2. If required, change SVG topobase structure that consists of XML structure elements.

  3. Download the topobase file in the SVG format from the object navigator.

  4. Make sure that all topobase requirements are met.

After executing the operations the SVG topobase is ready to be used.

For details about SVG topobase structure see the SVG Topobase Structure section.

Examples of SVG topobases are given in the Examples section.
