Installing Foresight Analytics Platform Activation

Extensions are additional tools of Foresight Analytics Platform that are unavailable by default but can be installed separately and can be used to enhance functionality of created systems. Foresight Analytics Platform includes the following extensions: Calculation Algorithms, Business Process Management, Interactive Data Entry Forms, Designer of Business Applications, Cube Cache, Transport of Changes.

An extension can depend on other extensions, that is why the extensions, on which it depends, will also be installed during its installation. Dependency of extensions:

Interactive Data Entry Forms > Designer of Business Applications

Calculation Algorithms > Designer of Business Applications

Business Process Management > Designer of Business Applications

Cube Cache > Designer of Business Applications

Transport of Changes > Designer of Business Applications

Therefore:

The extensions: Interactive Data Entry Forms, Calculation Algorithms, Business Process Management, Cube Cache, and Transport of Changes depend only on the Designer of Business Applications extension, and this extension will also be installed during their installation.
The Designer of Business Applications extension does not depend on other extensions and is installed separately.

To use extensions:

Install extensions to the repository.
Update already installed extensions if there are files with a newer version.
Install and set up designer of business applications back end to open and work with ready business applications in the web interface.

NOTE. Update extensions under the user who is a database (schema) owner.

When the Business Process Management extension is installed, set up scheduled business processes server execution using task scheduler.

After the Transport of Changes extension is installed, set it up. For details see the Setting Up Transport of Changes section.
