To select a data source:
Select the report type in the Report group on the Foresight ribbon tab:
Analytical queries.
Time series analysis.
Select data source in the report button's drop-down menu:
From Repository. The login dialog box opens. Enter the required repository and specify the data source.
From File. The dialog box for selecting the data source saved as an express report in the PPEXPRESS format (*.ppexpress) or a client cube (*.ppcube) opens.
NOTE. The menu item is available only for the Analytical Queries report type.
Known Sources. If a connection to a repository is established on working with the add-in, this menu contains a list of repositories that can be selected as a data source.
After the data source is selected, a dialog box appears where the user selects the data location. Select data location:
Existing Sheet. Data is locates on the current workbook sheet. By default data is added starting from the A1 cell. If required, change the range in the corresponding field. To ensure correct add-in performance, place data from a single data source on a report sheet of Microsoft Excel workbook
New Sheet. A new workbook sheet is created to locate data.
After that, data is added to the sheet by specified parameters.
NOTE. If the data source is parameterized, after the location is selected, the Determine Parameter Values dialog box opens to set parameter values.
