Setting Up Role Model

A role model sets user permissions to access data used in building a business process. Access permissions are determined by authorizations objects that link security subjects (users or groups of users) and cube data slices.

When a role model is set up, static and dynamic permissions of access to information objects are set:

  1. Create groups of users.

  2. Include users in groups.

  3. Create and set up authorization objects.
