To work with the tool in Foresight Analytics Platform 10, use the new interface.
Custom layout setting is required if the user needs to show dimension elements in a custom order and/or with custom names.
Parameters of custom layout of data area rows and columns are the same, but they are set on different pages.
NOTE. This setting has a higher priority and may override other layout settings.
The heading is created for the dimension shown in columns. The sidehead is created for the dimension shown in rows.
To create a custom header (heading and sidehead) and calculated elements for the data area, go to the Layout > Rows/Columns > Dimension > Set Up Layout tab. The Data Area Properties dialog box looks as follows:
Determine layout parameters on the tab:
Hide dimension elements if they are not used in the selection
Add selected elements which are not used in the layout
To create a header using dimension elements shown in the Dimension Elements area, select the required elements, and:
Click the Add into Layout button.
Select the Add into Layout item in the dimension element's context menu.
Double-click an element in the Dimension Elements area.
NOTE. If several elements are selected in the list, on double-click on any element the previous selection is cleared, and the current element is selected and moved to the Sidehead Layout/Heading Layout area.
Drag the selected elements to the Sidehead Layout/Heading Layout area.
The following operations are available when a header is created using dimension elements shown in the Dimension Elements area:
Change selection of all elements
Change selection for descendants
Work with alternative hierarchy
The following operations are available when working with header elements in the Sidehead Layout/Heading Layout area:
Add header elements and subelements
Set up displaying in dimension
