Adding a Security Subject

On adding a security subject to the update, group or user credentials are transferred. Determined security subjects properties are not taken into account.

NOTE. Adding a security object is available only in the desktop application.

To add a security subject to update:

• Select the Add Security Subject context menu item of the Update panel.

• Click the button and select the Security Subject drop-down menu item.

The standard dialog box for security object selection Select Users and Groups opens.

NOTE. On separating administrator roles and depending on the selected method of access control differences in access permissions to updated elements and object update options are possible.

When attribute-based access control method is used, user attributes are updated by identifier as follows:

• If attributes have equal identifiers, they are updated.

• If the attribute is absent, it is added.
