Differences in Dashboard Functionality in Desktop, Web and Mobile Applications

In the web and desktop applications the user can create dashboards and work with ready dashboards. In the mobile application based on Foresight Mobile Platform, the user can only view ready dashboards. Depending on the application in use, there are the following differences in dashboard functionality:

• undo/redo operations with objects are available.

• Displaying/hiding tabs is available only using block's context menu.

• Aligning sizes is only available for selected objects.

• Some object control buttons are available:

• Custom size of working area can be set.

• Dashboard background fill is available.

• Setting dashboard padding is available.

• Undo/redo operations with objects are available with limitations.

• Displaying/hiding tabs is available using the Block side panel tab and block's context menu.

• Aligning borders and sizes of selected objects is available.

• Object control buttons are available:

• Dashboard background fill is available if blocks are placed automatically.

• Creating dashboard paddings is available if blocks are placed automatically.

Inserting and setting up visualizers

• Working with all visualizers is available except for the Indicator visualizer.

• Editing and executing ETL tasks is available if data is reloaded to provider.

• Setting up table corner is available using the corner's context menu and the Titles side panel tab.

• Displaying visualizer title is available as a simple text or a control.

• Setting up additional parameters of visualizer title structure is available.

• Additional formatting setup of visualizer title is available:

To correctly display dashboards on tablets, set up dashboard formatting in the desktop application taking into account guidelines for building dashboards.

NOTE. The dashboard appearance with configured formatting for the mobile application may differ when the dashboard is viewed in the web application.
