To fill in a web application with objects, in the Menu Structure folder create shortcuts for objects located in the Business Application Internal Structure folder.
Shortcuts for objects that must be displayed in web application are created in repository object navigator or in business application view mode in a repository folder.
To add shortcuts in business application view mode, follow the steps:
Open business application for view on the system navigator tab:
Click the Open or Open > In Default Tool button on the Home ribbon tab
Select the Open context menu item for the selected business application
Double-click the selected business application in the object navigator folder tree.
In the Menu Structure folder, select a folder where object shortcuts for end user work in web application must be added.
For selected folder in navigator working area, select the Create > Shortcut context menu item.
In the Create Shortcut dialog box set shortcut parameters:
Source Object. Object to which the shortcut refers. The list shows all folders and objects of the current repository.
Name. The name of the created shortcut. It is determined by the user depending on its purpose.
Identifier. The unique identifier of the shortcut. It is created automatically by default: SHORTCUT_TO_*. If required, the user can modify identifier depending on the purpose. Only Latin letters, numbers and underscores can be used, spaces are not allowed.
Create a Shortcut to an Object in Another Repository.. When this checkbox is selected, in the Repository box select the Repository Connection object that enables the user to access an object of another repository from the current repository. After this select the required object in the Source Object box.
To save shortcut parameters, click the OK button.
After the web application menu structure is filled in, set object display parameters in the web application.
