Getting Started with the Calculation Algorithms Extension

To create a new calculation algorithm in the object navigator:

• Click the New Object > User Objects > Calculation Algorithm button in the Create group on the Home ribbon tab.

• Select the Create > User Objects > Calculation Algorithm item in the object navigator's context menu.

The Create Object dialog box opens, in which enter name and identifier of the calculation algorithm to be created. Then the created calculation algorithm will be opened.

To open a ready calculation algorithm for edit in the object navigator select the calculation algorithm and execute one of the operations:

• Click the Edit button in the Open group of the Home ribbon tab.

• Select the Edit item in the calculation algorithm's context menu.

• Press F4.

To open a ready calculation algorithm for view in the object navigator select the calculation algorithm and execute one of the operations:

• Click the Open button in the Open group of the Home ribbon tab.

• Select the Open item in the calculation algorithm's context menu.

• Double-click the algorithm with the main mouse button.

• Main menu. It contains a list of commands that are used to execute various operations with calculation algorithms.

• Ribbon. It contains buttons for building and setting up calculation algorithms.

• Quick access toolbar. It contains frequently used commands.

• Calculation tree. It is used to set up a calculation algorithm structure.

• Parameters panel. It is used to set values of calculation algorithm parameters.

• Working area. It is used to build calculation algorithms.
