Adding Parameters

Parameters enable the user to dynamically control block calculation. They can also be used to create block calculation formulas, to set up consumer data filtering and source data filtering.

Calculation block parameters can be added on the Block Parameters page in the calculation block editing wizard:

Add a parameter

Edit parameter

Change parameters order

Delete parameter

Setting Up Parameter

A parameter can be set up in the Object Parameter Properties dialog box:

Specify:

  1. Name. A parameter name should be meaningful and explain parameter functionality.

  2. Identifier. A parameter identifier should be unique. An identifier should consist of Latin letters. It may contain numbers and underscore characters, and must start with a letter.

  3. Dictionary. Select the dictionary, which values will be used as parameter values.

  4. Default Value. Select default parameter value.
