Updating Group of Users

Update a group of users to update its access permissions at DBMS level.

NOTE. Updating of groups is available only in the desktop application. When roles of information security administrator and application administrator are separated, only one of the administrators has the permission to update groups of users, depending on the parameters selected during mode activation.

To update the selected groups of users, go to the Groups section and:

Select the Update item in the object's context menu
Select the Group > Update in main menu.

If the selected groups to be updated include domain groups with permissions controlled at DBMS level, the dialog box opens:

Select update method:

Update Group Only. Only group is updated.
Update Group Users. A list of users included into this group is formed to further update these users.

After the update method is selected, click the OK button.

Then, a list of users is formed which includes users of selected groups of Foresight Analytics Platform, users of domain groups without permission control on database level, and domain groups with permission control on database level for which the Update Group Users option is enabled:

Select users to be updated.

To work with selection, the context menu and the Select All and Deselect All buttons are available.

Press CTRL+A to select all items in the list.

NOTE. No dialog box opens if the list of users is empty.
