ETL task objects are used to display schemas of data loading and transformation, as well as mechanisms, schemes and object dependency structures in the working area.
A working area is a container where ETL task objects are located. A working area is a convenient method of:
Visual arranging task objects on the same workspace.
Providing access to task object properties.
Showing links and dependencies between objects.
Objects are divided into:
Zoom. To zoom the working area:
Specify the zoom percent in the field of the toolbar.
Hold down the CTRL key and scroll the mouse wheel.
Select the View item in the main menu and select zoom option.
Select the Zoom item in the working area's context menu and select zoom option.
NOTE. On working in the web application it is unavailable to zoom by scrolling the mouse wheel.
Show Grid. To show the working area grid, select the View > Show Grid main menu item.
Show Connection Points. To show connection points, select the View > Show Connection Points main menu item.
Show Intersections. To show intersections, select the View > Show Intersections main menu item.
