Working with Interactive Controls

Interactive controls created at the moment of dashboard building are used to control block contents.

The interactive control buttons located at the top right corner of the block are used to work with blocks. The control buttons enable the user to quickly execute basic operations to control an object.

A list of available buttons is set on building a dashboard on the Block side panel tab.

Point the mouse cursor on the top right corner of the block:

Object control buttons are displayed, for example:

Table:

Setting up table corner.
Calculating summary statistics.
Sorting values.
Data drill down (without using the context menu).
Applying advanced analytics.

Chart:

Hiding or showing a series.
Data drill down or drill up (without a context menu).
Displaying hidden legend elements.

Map:

Filtering displayed data.
Working with animation.
Data drill down and drill up.

Bubble Chart, Bubble Tree, Tree Map, Indicator:

Working with animation.

Express Report:
- Data view control.
- Setting up report dimensions synchronization.
Regular Report:
- Toggling between report sheets.
- Setting up report dimension synchronization.
Time Series:
- Data view control.

Drop-Down List. Changing the element selection using the mouse.
