The side menu structure of a web application can be created in the Menu Structure folder created by default. The folder with structure is used to locate shortcuts for custom application objects. Formatting of side menu folder view and custom objects is set up additionally.
To create a side menu structure of web application:
Select parent folder in the Menu Structure folder.
To create a folder, click the New Folder button in the Create group on the Home ribbon tab.
Enter folder name:
The folder structure can be hierarchical, with no limits on the number of nesting levels, the web application side menu displays only two-level structure.
To move the created folder to another location, drag and drop it.
After the side menu structure of the web application is created, add shortcuts for objects that should be displayed in menu.
