Starting Distribution Kit Using Parameters

Determines whether Prognoz Platform 9 shortcuts must be created. Shortcuts are created by default that is why the parameter is used only to disable shortcut creation.

Syntax

PP9Full.exe /v"INSTALLSHORTCUTS="False""

If the command is used, Prognoz Platform 9 is installed without shortcuts.

The parameter determines Prognoz Platform 9 installation wizard language. If the parameter is used, no language selection dialog box opens on installing Prognoz Platform 9. The parameter use does not affect Prognoz Platform 9 interface language.

Syntax

PP9Full.exe /L1049

where

1049: language code (Russian).

The installation wizard will use Russian, and the language selection dialog box will not open.

Codes of available languages are given below.

Determines whether every time Prognoz Platform 9 runs the integrity of executed files is checked, and file contents is compared with a standard. Integrity check is disabled by default.

Syntax

PP9Full.exe /v"PP_CHECK_CONTROL_SUMS=1"

If the command is used, Prognoz Platform 9 is installed with enabled Prognoz Platform 9 integrity check.

Determines whether every time Prognoz Platform 9 runs, the Check Control Sums Every Time Prognoz Platform 9 Runs option is displayed.

Syntax

PP9Full.exe /v"PP_CONTROL_SUMS_VISIBLE=0"

If the command is used, the Check Control Sums Every Time Prognoz Platform 9 Runs checkbox is hidden. The changes affect custom installation.

Determines whether a license manager shortcut must be created.

Syntax

PP9Full.exe /v"PPLICENSESHORTCUT=0"

If the command is used, Prognoz Platform 9 is installed, but the license manager shortcut is not created.

The parameter determines Prognoz Platform 9 interface language.

NOTE. This setting is overruled with Prognoz Platform 9 interface language setting for the current user.

The parameter does not affect the installation wizard language.

Syntax

PP9Full.exe /v"PPPRODUCTLANGUAGE=1049"

where:

1049: language code (Russian).

The following codes are available:

• 1049. Russian.

• 1033. English.

• 1034. Spanish.

• 1040. Italian.

• 1087. Kazakh.

• 2052. Chinese (simplified).

• 1031. German.

• 1058. Ukrainian.

• 1036. French.

• 2070. Portuguese.

• 1025. Arabic.

• 14337. Arabic (United Arab Emirates).

Determines whether all previous versions are deleted on installation:

• PPUPDATEACTION=1. Previously installed versions are deleted. Default value.

• PPUPDATEACTION <> 1. Previously installed versions are kept.

Syntax

PP9Full.exe /v”PPUPDATEACTION=2”

If the command is used, Prognoz Platform 9 is installed, previously installed versions are kept.

The specified clone_wait parameter informs the process started the installer whether it must wait for the installation to finish.

Syntax

PP9Full.exe /clone_wait

"Prognoz Add-in for Excel.exe" /clone_wait

If the commands are used, the Prognoz Platform 9 desktop application and the Microsoft Excel add-in are consequently installed.
