Trim

Syntax

Trim(Text)

Parameters

Text. The string where you need to delete spaces at the end and at the beginning.

NOTE. To determine the parameter, specify either the parameter value or the cell address where it is located.

Description

It deletes spaces at the beginning and at the end of the specified string.

Example

Formula Result Description
=Trim("          va va          " ) "va va" The            va va          source string, at the beginning and at the end of which spaces were deleted.
=Trim(B6) «12» A source line in the B6 cell, at the beginning and at the end of which spaces were deleted. The B6 cell contains the   12    value.
