Syntax

ChiTest(ActualRange, ExpectedRange)

Parameters

ActualRange. Data range that contains the observations to be compared with the expected values.

ExpectedRange. Data range that contains the ratio of products of rows and columns totals to the general total.

NOTE. The ActualRange and ExpectedRange parameters must match in size.

Description

The method returns value of chi-squared distribution.

Comments

The χ2 criterion is used to define if the hypothesis is supported with the experiment. The χ2 criterion first calculates χ2-statistics and then sums up the differences between the actual and expected values.
