Multinomial

Syntax

Multinomial(Values1, …)

Values1, Values2, …, ValuesN. The range of cells, for which the multinomial coefficient is determined.

It returns relation of factorial of sum of values to product of factorials.

The ratio between the factorial of the values sum and the product of factorials is named multinomial coefficient.

Formula	Result	Description
=Multinomial(B6:D6)	1260,0000	The multinomial coefficient of numbers within the cell range between B6 and D6. This range contains the following numbers: 2, 3, 4.
