The Setup page is used to set data source parameter values:
On the Configure ODBC Data Source page, the following parameters are determined:
Connection String. Data source connection parameters (filled automatically).
DSN. Data source name (filled automatically).
Table. Name of the table, file, or Excel sheet (depending on the type of source) that should be used as a data source.
User. The username used on server connection.
Password. The user password used on server connection.
Catalog (DB). Directory containing data source to be connected.
Layout. Under development.
If a new data source is created, click the Minimal Options button to set up the driver. For more information about installing drivers for external sources, consult the standard ODBC reference manual, which opens on clicking the Help button in every driver installation dialog box for selected sources.
If the Existing Data Source checkbox is selected on the ODBC Data Source page, use the Configure DSN button to set up drivers. This button is available if user account control (UAC) is disabled in the operating system, or Foresight Analytics Platform is run with PC administrator permissions.
