Container

Each object created in the repository has a basic set of properties describing the purpose of this object: name, identifier and comment. Names and comments can contain any text and can also coincide for two or more objects. The object identifier must be unique, this is necessary to maintain the integrity of the tree of all repository objects.

The Container object provides a separate space within the repository where the individual identifiers are maintained. The object identifiers within the container must be unique, but they can match the object identifiers within other containers or the identifiers of objects that are not included into containers. Any repository objects, as well as other containers can be created inside the container, .
