Setting Up Arrows Parameters and Fill

1. Make sure that the side panel is displayed.

2. In the working area select a map with arrows.

3. Select the Format radio button on the side panel and go to the Arrow tab.

To select arrow type, use the Appearance drop-down list. The following arrow types are available:

• Straight. An arrow with straight base with the same width from bottom to top:

• Figured. An arrow with the figured base that changes its width from bottom to top:

To determine arrow height and thickness, use appropriate boxes:

Range of allowed values for:

• Arrow pointer height, arrow pointer width, arrow foot width - [0; 100].

• Arrow bend angle - [-89; 89].

NOTE. The Arrow Base Thickness parameter is available if the Thickness by Metric checkbox is deselected.

To link arrow base width to the metric value:

1. In the metrics dimension specify the element that determines the Arrow Thickness parameter.

2. Select the Thickness by Metric checkbox on the Arrow tab.

3. In the From box determine the minimum arrow base thickness corresponding to the metric minimum value. Minimum allowed value of the arrow base thickness is 0.

4. In the To box determine the maximum arrow base thickness corresponding to the maximum metric value. Maximum allowed value of the arrow base thickness is 150.

5. In the No Data box determine arrow base thickness in case there is no data.

The arrow border is not shown by default.

To show the arrow border, select the Border checkbox and in appropriate boxes specify the following border line parameters:

• Color.

• Width.

• Line type.

To hide arrow border, deselect the Border checkbox.
