• Add a new connector to the working area. The properties panel is displayed automatically.

• Select the new connector in the working area.

1. Open the object's properties panel.

2. Click the Settings button.

3. On the advanced settings panel of the object go to the Input Editor tab.

To change input identifier, double-click the identifier and set a new value. One can use Latin characters, numbers or the _ special character. By default, object input identifiers are created automatically as follows: I<input number>.

Set link to object. To do this, click the Create Link button and select an object output. If the list of provider and consumer fields fully matches, all fields will be linked automatically. A link between fields can also be set up in the Set Up Links group of settings.

Add required fields of the ETL task object to the list. Data will be loaded to specified fields. To add all fields from the object that is consumer and is linked with input to the list, click the Actions button and select the Fill from Consumer item.

Add required fields of the ETL task object to the list. Data is loaded from selected fields.

To add all fields from provider file to the list, click the Actions button and select the Fill from Provider item.

To add a new field, click the Add button. The Field Properties dialog box opens:

NOTE. The Field Properties dialog box appearance depends on the selected data provider.

Set field attributes in the dialog box:

• Name. Field name.

• Identifier. Unique identifier of the field.

• Type. Select type of field data in the drop-down list.

• Calculated Field. To set a formula, for which field value is calculated, select this checkbox. After selecting the checkbox enter the expression using the keyboard.
  To increase the value of each new record for a fixed size, use the INCREMENT special expression.

NOTE. The INCREMENT special expression is available only for calculated field of integer type.

The syntax of the expression: INCREMENT[Value1, Value2] where Value1 - initial value, Value2 - step, by which the Value1 value must increase on each expression call. Each data loading starts with initial value.

To edit the field, select the Edit context menu item for it.
