How to Set Up Automatic Generation of Mnemonics?

Mnemonics is the unique value generated on the basis of the values of the time series attributes and used as series name.

To automatically generate mnemonics, specify rules of creating time series names using the Fore language. Use the IMetaDictionary.AttributeMnemoNamings property.

After performing these operations series mnemonics are generated automatically according to specified rules.

TIP. To use mnemonics as time series identifiers, select the Series Has Identifiers checkbox on the Attributes page in the time series database wizard.
