To stop running tasks in Linux OS, stop the scheduler.service scheduler service:
sudo systemctl stop scheduler.service
To close the scheduler in Windows OS:
Click the Close button in the task scheduler dialog box.
Select the Close item in the context menu of the
icon.
Clicking the Close button in the scheduler dialog box closes only scheduler dialog box, the scheduler continues working and it will be available in the notification area. To close the task scheduler completely, select the Close item in the context menu of the
icon.
After the running tasks are stopped, if required, refresh settings of task scheduler and start tasks for execution with required parameters.
