Fixing Dimension Elements in Table

Fixing of dimension element in a table is moving of the dimension, which element is selected, to the Fixed group, and replacing of this element in a table with the element of one of the fixed dimensions.

To fix dimension element in a data table:

  1. Select name of the dimension element in a table, which should be fixed.

  2. Select the Fix Element and Replace It With context menu item. If this item is selected, the list with names of the fixed dimensions opens.

NOTE. In the Dashboards tool select the Table > Fix Element and Replace It With item in the dimension element name's context menu.

  1. Select one of the fixed dimensions in the list. It will be moved to the By Rows group or By Columns group (depending on position of the dimension, which element is selected). The first selected element of this dimension is displayed in the table. The dimension, which was before located by rows or by columns, will be moved to the Fixed group.

NOTE. Fixing of dimension elements in a dashboard table is available only in the desktop application.
