IMetabaseTreeList.FindByDescriptor

Syntax

FindByDescriptor(ObjectDescriptor: IMetabaseObjectDescriptor): IMetabaseTreeListNode;

Parameters

ObjectDescriptor. Description of the repository object, for which the corresponding element must be found in the component tree.

Description

The FindByDescriptor method searches for a component tree node that corresponds to the repository object, which description is passed using the ObjectDescriptor parameter. In case of a successful search the method returns the found node parameters, otherwise it returns Null.
