Setting Up Public Objects

Public objects setup enable the user to determine common objects used in different business applications.

To set up component public objects, follow the steps:

Open the component for edit:

Click the Edit button on the Home ribbon tab.
Select the Edit item in the selected component's context menu.
Press F4.

In component designer go to the Public Objects section:

In the Component Objects area to the left select the objects that should be used in different business applications.
Click the button. The selected object with its identifier will be displayed in the Public Component Objects area to the right.

To save settings and exit the designer, click the Finish button.

After public objects are set up, go to select object classes in use related to the component.
